No matter what your told DONT BUY IT!!! This place is a DUMP!!! I was told that the house keepers were fired but I see that people that stayed in this hotel in Sept 07 had the same problem that we did in Aug 07...Hmm sure makes you think that Ms. Linder is all about LIES!

stay clear of this place! contact the Myrtle Beach dept of consumer affairs BEFORE booking at this hotel!

No Car...No Go! The only public transportation available, a 1/4-century-old bus line, The Coast RTA, is about to go under. Amazingly, the Horry County Council has decided not to make available to them, emergency funds. The company is both celebrating it's 25th-Anniversary and going bust all in the same year. Getting around by taxicab is an expensive proposition, everything seems miles and miles away from anywhere. The 'locals,' like minimum-wagers and, those who cannot afford a cab ride to affordable medical care, or have no vehicle... are third-class citizens! So either prepare to "fill-er-up" frequently, or watch a lot of bad TV! As for The Cherry Tree Inn, except for the local Food Lion... you might as well be on Mars! A grimy unpleasant Mars, at that!
