The room was in great need of repairs. The service was slow. The staff continually came to the room on the same day. This made me quite concerned. The pool was only open for a half day the first day we arrived. People were coming from other hotels to swim. Gift shop never opened.

We stayed at the Caravelle in June '04. I was very surprised at how clean everything was! Great poolside bar, lazy river and snack shop. Right on the beach, but far enough in N. Myrtle that you don't get all the traffic! GREAT kid activities!
