Stayed for a week with the wife. Mostly hung out at the beach, pools and bar. Condo we stayed in was nice (1706). Definitely going back.

Went back and enjoyed this visit as much as before..enjoyed the condo nice and clean everything you need for a family there..videos coloring books games so some nice touches.
We were lucky to get condo from owners through VRBO
Beach beautiful now its been cleaned and finished..
Staff pleasent in the hotel enjoyed relaxing wiht a drink in the bar after a day in the pools.

Stayed here in Oct 05 had a great time not too close to the crowds but close enough to everything.
Had a great ocean view room 211 seems each is individually owned so each taken care of differently..
This one had all you needed and extras down to games for the kids..nice touch.
Full kitchen so nice to not have to eat out all the time..
2 bedrooms 2 baths so again great for a group.
Only one floor up so not far to walk if evelvator busy.
Overlooking the lazy river...so great with the kids..
Resturant has 2 nights of specials ..so treat the family them nights..
Enjoyed our trip and will be cak in Dec and will ask for same room again if poss.
Staff very pleasent and room cleaned well.

Top Local Tips for Myrtle Beach

Location, Location, Location Map where your staying. If you want to stay so you can walk to the sidewalk stores, locate those hotels. If your ok with driving to the area , paying for parking then stay away from the crowed boulevard. I would also ask when booking my room if I have side noise from a window or balcony. The noise from the street can be loud if your by the sidewalk stores.

Places to eat and places to avoid Avoid: Hungry Howies Pizza (Awful!), Giant Crab (expensive, bad food and they ran out of crab legs!!) Good: Captain Georges (expensive but worth it-by far best AYCE seafood at beach)
