Nice place to stay

My wife and I stayed in a one bedroom condo and some of our friends stayed in a two-bedroom condo. Very nice (not the Ritz Carlton), but very nice. Staff was very accomodating and the unit contained all we needed. The facilities are very nice as well. Very convienient to most places (shopping, beach, golfing, etc.) on the island within 5 - 20 minutes by car. Only disappointment was that the internet access WiFi is only available from the main lobby instead of an expanded area by wireless accesspoints so you can reach the net from your condo. But then again, the point of being there is to relax, so I didn't mind the inconvience.

Overall, I would stay there again. The price is right and I enjoyed my stay.

Top Local Tips for Hilton Head Island

Toll Road We were confused when following google maps to get to Players Club because US-278 splits in two. One leads to the toll bridge, and the other to the Businesss sector. If you take the Business side, you have to drive about 3 miles more, but you save the $5 toll.

beaches are mostly private stay at a facility with DIRECT beach access.

rent bikes the easiest way to get around Hilton head is to rent bikes. They are about 25.00 per week and many rental services will deliver them to your hotel. Most resturants and stores are within easy riding distances.
