Top Local Tips for Greenville

Wonderful toy store Cant remember the name but there is a TERRIFIC toy store on Main St. in the center of Downtown - it has 2 toy soldiers outside - check it out - its a gem! Also the old, old 'general store' right next to it has very neat toys and kids stuff too! Alsmost opposite is a 'dog boutique' - a little pricey but very nice doggie stuff!!

Great Local Destinations Check out the revitalized downtown park area called Falls Park. Beautiful! Perfect for romantic couples, families, and pet owners. They did a great job on this park and it shows! Caesar's Head State Park is in the mountains about an hour away. Another great park to look out for miles. If you want to hike at Raven Falls, go early on weekends. The parking lot is extremely limited - maybe 20 cars can fit at a given time.

Baileys The hotel recommended Baileys to view a Direct TV sporting event. The recommendation was excellent. We found a very lively and spirited group representing nearly every team in the NFL. It was crowded and loud, but it was a great place to watch your team play.
