We stopped late at night...rainy, foggy and pulled into the first motel we could. We could tell it was older, but some of the best ones are. This was not the case! We were "okay" with the initial appearance of the room (we just needed out of the weather and a few hours sleep). When the bar closed, that is in the motel, it was party time outside, and no one cared about people trying to sleep. About 3:30 our little guy woke up and was cold (temp had dropped outside), so we got up to turn on some heat. That was when the smell would have run you out...someone had obviously URINATED IN THE HEATER UNIT! Needless to say, it was sickening! Of course, we turned it off and endured the cold. We did not want to have to get our child up and pack up, move rooms when we would be checking out at day break. When we checked out we told "drew" who was a very nice and understanding young man. Drew said he would tell the manager and not charge our room yet. He took our number and said she would call us that afternoon when she came in. We have waited two weeks and no call. We have called many times but still no call. She finally told Drew last evening to tell us she was NOT going to call us back because we didn't complain until check out. We really didn't expect anything in return, except maybe an apology and definitely the respect of a return call.
