We did make reservations at the Comfort Inn in Florence, SC on or about the date that you suggested. We made the reservation to get away from our home on the coast for our safety during a hurricane. When we arrived, the rooms were not ready and we were asked to come back after noon. When we returned (after having been at a local shopping mall), we explained that we had seen on a TV that it was safe to return to the beach because the storm had passed. The young lady at the desk inquired if we came for that reason, and we told her we came for our safety. She told us it would be OK not to stay (and we would not be charged), if we would rather return to our homes. It was a most gracious gesture...and you may be sure that if the occasion arises that we need to evacuate again, you can be sure where we will go!
