Parking and Public Transportation This is a city for walking, it is difficult to find parking. Recommend that you park in the Battery area and take the free shuttle to main areas of interest, or walk if it is not too hot and absorb the ambience of the neighborhoods and read the historical markers along the way.

Magnolia Plantation This plantation has beautiful gardens, so prepare to spend some time walking the trails (easy and flat).

Buggy rides QUIZ the person taking your money about your buggy driver/ historical facts person,. The biggest let down of the trip was our Buggy Ride, which to be honest I hate to do anyway,,,feel sorry for the horse lugging around a bunch of pasty white tourists,,,but,,,where was I,,Oh,,,when you pay for a buggy ride then damn it,,,give me more that my horse ,,his name is Larry,,and a lot of celebrities live here in Charleston and then you do not tell us who they are??? I could have given a better tour and new more about Charleston than this yahoo,,,
