Fantastic! This wqs my wife and my first trip to Charleston. The history is fantastic. But, there is so much diversity....younger people jogging and older people shopping or walking. The buildings, streets and waterways are something to behold. I highly reccommend this city.

Gullah tour We didn't sign up for any tours in advance. All of the locals recommended the Gullah tour but it was completely booked during our entire stay. Loved the nighttime ghost tour though.

Beautiful city Charleston is a beautiful city having many attractions whether it is for historical sightseeing or for strolling through the markets while enjoying the architecture of the lovely southern styled homes. However, prices can be a bit high. Nearby beaches are wonderful. The people are for the most part very friendly and helpful.
