Room was very nice; breakfast next morning was very basic but plentiful and good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Top Local Tips for Charleston

Skip the Haunted Jail Tour While a poriton of the ticket price goes toward ongoing maintenance and restoration of the building, your money (from an entertainment perspective) could be better spend elsewhere. The haunted jail tour was A) not scary, B) boring tour guide, and C) expensive ($20/pp).

Don't need to stay in historic area to get around trolley serve all the major destination points and cost $4 for all day pass. Most historic areas have limited parking with expensive rates so leave car behind and take the trolley

Cintra This little place is great. It's at the harbor end of Market. Sit at the bar and enjoy one of their 50 martinis. Great appetizers, and most entrees can be sized down to an app portion if you aren't up for a huge meal. Great staff as well!
