The beautiful city of Anderson We only spent 48 hours in Anderson, South Carolina. My american family who accomodated my in 1978 in New England, recently moved there & I decided to meet them again after 30 years. The city of Anderson is a quite nice place and lake Hartwell is beautiful. Will likely come back to visit South Carolina .

Tips and Hot Deals Last minute trip can be a bit challanging at time. My recent trip to Anderson and Ashville was a breez. We also got a great deal that too. I shop online and that decided to call the hotel directly for any possible last minute deal. I called the new Holiday Inn on Clemson Boulevard asking to a discounted rate few days before traveling. I was told that most of hotels in that area will be sold out due to the upcoming ball game. I called the date of traveling and asked if there is any room available. I was told hotel had few rooms left. Aftern a brief conversation, I got a deal. Hotel is newly opened as Holiday Inn full service. What a wonderful job they have done. Even though it was very modern but staff made you welcome upon arrival. I traveled with two teenage nephews armed with personal laptops. They were over the lobby with their laptop taking advantage of free wireless.
