The Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh Tour the Nationality Rooms located in the Cathedral of Learning on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. These rooms, which are used classrooms, were designed and decorated by various nationality groups in Pittsburgh to reflect their nation's culture. There are over 20 decorated rooms representing such countries as Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Norway, Israel, Ukrania and the continent of Africa. Both guided tours and self-guided tours are available.

Getting around the 'Burgh If you're unfamiliar with the area I would suggest relying on cabs, or if you want to drive, bring a navigation unit. The area is very hilly and the roads often twist around, with multiple roads sharing single intersections. It's easy to get lost. If you find yourself driving through the same tunnel more than once on your way somewhere, don't be surprised. Also: Pittsburgh is not very big. If you're used to larger metropolitan areas you'll be amazed at how quickly you can find yourself in some wooded residential area on the other side of a river from the city.
