Top Local Tips for Philadelphia

Don't Miss the Penn Museum We couldn't get in to see the sold out King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute so we opted to spend the afternoon at the University of Pennsylvania Archeology and Anthropology Museum (Penn Museum). We had never heard anything about it so our expectations we not very high. Wow, were we blown away. This museum is close to 150 years old with one of the most amazing collections of artifacts we've ever seen. Admission was free on Sunday too. Don't miss it!

Jones This is one of many restaurants owned by the same group. We stopped there for dinner one night, and it was terrific. Comfort food done up big time. I had a turkey burger with boursin cheese and sprouts. My friend had fried chicken. Both were excellent. We were so stuffed, we couldn't even have dessert. (probably a first for us!) I highly recommend this restaurant, and would be willing to try some of their others (Continental, Buddokon, and some others I don't remember)
