Tiny room - otherwise nice
Stayed one night. Location is excellent, walking distance to Liberty Bell, Independence square. Parking is discounted for guests ($10 - No in and out). Continental breakfast okay, staff friendly.
Biggest problem was room size. We had a queen bed, and along with a couple of nighttables, that's the room. We had no decent room for our suitcases - even the closet was too small.

Always the first place I call in Philly.
The Alexander Inn is a great hotel. I've stayed there a couple times, just for a weekend in the city, and have had a great experience every time. Whenever I am planning an overnight or weekend in the city, I always call the Alexander first. The location is wonderful for me and the staff is always courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The only negative thing I can say is that I'm very dissapointed when I can't get a room...I like it THAT much. Highly recommended!!!
