Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire On the weekends from the beginning of August until the end of October, visit the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Manheim, PA. We have been going there for 6 years, and plan on going for many more years. It's a great place to bring the kids, friends or spouses.

GOLF, CYCLING, RAILROADS,OUTLETS & FOOD! there's great golf at reasonable prices: Overlook Golf course, an 18 hole course,just off Litiz Pike, and Old Hickory, right next to the hotel, a 9 hole course. Wonderful back road cycling thru Amish farm country, mostly FLAT! Of couse, there's also the OUTLET SHOPPING nearby: TANGER & ROCKVALE. A train ride on the beautifully restored Steam Engine in Strasburg, as well as the railroad museum there is well worth the visit for families and train buffs alike. For a real treat, dine at the Belvedere, downtown: pricey, reservations recommended, but great ambiance & food. A great casual lunch, al fresco, overlooking the Conestoga River, try the Conestoga Restaurant & Bar, just on the outskirts of town.
