| I love, love, loved it! |
|
After reading the previous review, I was shocked. I traveled to the Glass House Inn with my family and we had a wonderful experience. I don't usually write reviews, but I really felt that there was something unique and special about our stay.
We were welcomed by friendly staff who were very helpful and offered their services. With a family of five it is usually difficult staying at motels, but they had a room with three beds in it, two doubles and a single. It was a hit, considering one of us usually ends up on a sleeping bag!
They had a free breakfast in the morning and we ate with our fellow customers and were greeted with smiles by the staff. Our room was always cleaned and the location was wonderful. I hope that we travel back and stay at the Glass House Inn, it was a joy! |

| Terrible! Stay Away! |
|
I stayed here based on some other reviews saying how wonderful it was. It is terrible!! Old and dilapidated. It is filthy! Very, very dusty. The bottom of the brand new slippers I brought were dark brown after 2 days. I brought the owner down and showed her the dirt and she said it would be taken care of. It was not. Each day brought a different number of linens. One day I would get one towel, nothing else. The next day a full set. Then one washcloth. Toilet paper and tissue were not replaced. I had to go to the office to get them when out. The phone did not work. Dead. I had to go to the office. The breakfast consisted of bagels and a can of strawberry cream cheese or choice of muffin. Period. I am allergic to strawberries. The ice machine is in the office. The office closes at 10 p.m. I needed ice the morning I left and it was 7:30 am and it was not open. The in room coffee was not replaced everyday. As with the linens, some days it would be there, others not. Sheets were not changed... Read more |
