Top Local Tips for Seaside
Things to do Do the surrey and talk to locals, they are very happy to show and tell you things of interest. Walk the beach early morning for sand dollars. Definitely bring kites (even the cheapies) to have flying while you start a fire on the beach and roast hot dogs and marshmallows - kids love it. Bring warm clothes, as it is breezy and you will want to be out in it! HAVE FUN! Eating at Norma's for a fine meal is a good night. Shopping is not too expensive, you can find some good deals. Go to the carousel in the mall and hit the 12.99 or less store to buy your sweatshirts from Seaside. Walk the boardwalk - very nice experience!
History Museum worth a look The local history museum is a treat - it even has a diorama of the town as it looked a hundred years ago, complete with a narration. The cottage next door is a trip back into town. Admission is only $3 for adults, and it's located just a stone's throw from the beach and the city center.
Save some Money Local phone books have a coupon for $3 off pizza at Fultano's in town...Good pizza also.
