Depressing neighborhood
Happy to discover La Quinta chain of hotel/motels; we will NOT stay at the Yeon location if we can help it. One side faces onto a truck depot where the trucks leave their motors running; we switched to the other where the diner has trucks pulling on and out all night. The neighborhood is depressing; an industrial trucking and train yards, which stink. The 'pool' faces onto an industrial street and is unusable for lack of privacy and seems to be the focal point for the lobby. If you want to be on TV from both sides then the pool is for you. The hotel and the service was fair enough although there was a huge mix up in our reservation, and the non smoking room we booked turned out to be a smoking room next to the truck depot. If we'd only been there one night I wouldn't have paid for it. But we switched to the other side and dealt with it. The DSL is wyefye so bring your own wireless card and be quick about breakfast; because it runs out fast. WE won't be seeing you there.
