Smelly, wet and cold.

Unfortunately I do not have a good review of the stay at the hotel in Portland. I asked for a non smoking room. I got a hotel that smelled so bad I did not sleep at all that night and the detergent and smoke smell was in all the pillows, sheets and blankets. The hotel was very cold and I did not think until much later to call the office and they told me where to find the button to control the temperture. Also, the next day went to shower and the water in the bathtub did not drain, the water was half up the bathtub when I finished.

After my trip about one month later I made a complaint by phone. I did not complain at first because I had been living in the States for only about one year and was going home for the first time to visit my family in Montreal Canada. I was alone at this hotel in a section that that head out in front of a bunch of residential homes and did not want to leave my room it scared me being in a strange place. The hotel area did not feel very safe for me alone.

By morning was so exhausted and upset not sleeping all night getting ready for a long trip complaining I felt would have been too much for me.
