Quiet Stay With a Minor Glitch

My friend and I stayed as an overnighter at the Airport Comfort Inn and were very happy with our accommodations and happy that we could leave our car at the Park and Fly at the hotel. The only "fly in the ointment" was on our return trip when we called from the airport for the shuttle to pick us up and they were not sure we had been guests and didn't have a shuttle available to pick us up. To the credit of the staff, they did call a neighboring hotel with a shuttle to come to the airport and drop us at the Comfort Inn to retrieve our car.

Top Local Tips for Portland

Tri-Met Train If you fly into PDX and do not want a rental car stay at an Airport Hotel for most have Shuttle Vans to pick you up and take you back and forth from Airport to Hotel. Then take the TRI-MET train to any place around Portland Oregon for the most part. At $4.50 a day to believe $20.00 a week. I have found these trains to be safe and clean. Why have that Rental car and all the trouble (Parking, Gas, Traffic, Etc, Etc ,Etc) The train takes you into Portland where you can transfer to the Streetcars and buses and go to a lot of places. Portland trys a lot better then most Large cities when it comes to Public Transportation.
