Just wanted to let people know of the "Best Kept Inn" on our trip. We stayed in various motels on our west coast trip, from Bellingham, WA to San Diego, CA when we found this great little Inn perched on a hilltop in Florence, OR. We first found the Landmark Inn in the "Where to Stay in Oregon" magazine, published by the Oregon Lodging Assc. When we arrived at the Landmark Inn we had a quick and easy check-in and then found cleanest, most accommodating suite on our trip... It was the only motel that we stayed at, to and from San Diego.. The room rates were less than Holiday Inn Express and the Best Western. The Inn had this great Spa & Sauna that we could reserve for ourselves for an hour each day, which came with the room. We stayed a couple of nights on the way home because we also loved adventuring around the Florence "Old Town" area and Sand Dunes National Park. If you are planning on going to the Oregon / West Coast in the future, I highly recommend the Landmark Inn.

The Landmark Inn is situated so that the traveler has a great view of the dunes and the Siuslaw River. Room rates are reasonable and the friendly staff make you feel welcome. I especially like using the spa and sauna at the Landmark.
