Top Local Tips for Florence
Old town Don't avoid going into "Old Town". It is a small area about two blocks square of fun shops, varied restaurants and people watching. Spend an hour or so just enjoying a diversion.
2 great Restaurants MORGANS for Breakfast! Clean, Great food, Great Coffee, Good staff, and affordable. Morgans is south of town by the park hotel. BRIDGEWATER for dinner. Great Seafood. A little spendy but the food is worth it and the staff were very nice. Bridgewater is in downtown Florence.
Amazing restaurant A superb restaurant in Florence is the Waterfront Depot in Old Town. Watch for signs pointing to Old Town as you drive through town - it's a picturesque section of cafe's, restaurants, etc. by the waterfront. The restaurant offers amazing ambience, stellar meals and unbelievable prices. It's very popular with the locals and tourists alike, so call ahead to reserve a table. It's amazing.
