OK, if you like noise The front desk person was friendly when we checked in. The hotel is not the cleanest and seems a little old. Our room had a very "funny" stale smell to it. The walls are paper thin, so everything neighbors are doing can be heard. The doors are heavy and can be heard slamming. Neighbors didn't seem to care about others around them, at all hours. We finally got to sleep around 11:00pm and were awoken at about 1:00am to blaring music. I hopped up to see where it was coming from. There was a car in the parking lot at the Shari's that our window overlooked. The car had it's stereo blasting clear enough to hear the R&B, Rap, and Hip Hop lyrics and beats. To make it even worse was the two or three late teen to early twenty something year old girls screaming about every 5 to 10 seconds while they danced around the car and yelled at anybody that looked at them as they entered Shari's. This went on for about 30 minutes. About 20 minutes into this a neighbor showed up running down the hall and then slammed his door. He sounded pretty much like he was drunk as he could not talk to his roomies in a normal tone and insisted on using profanities for about 10 minutes. After this things got back to normal, but still did not get a decent nights sleep. Breaksfast was not the best, but OK. I would not recommend staying here, but if you do, request to be put on the side opposite the Shari's parking lot.

Gettting around Dinind Sightseeing Leave time to do things in Corvallis besides business. There are beautiful natural settings and I'd have loved to have my bike with me. Dining out would have been fun too as there seemed to be a lot of options. The town bustles with lots of energy.
