Top Local Tips for Coos Bay
Overrated Because we traveled many hours the day we stayed at the Best Western in Coos Bay, OR, we did not dine out in any restaurant there. We drove to Safeway and purchased deli sandwiches and soup and took it back to the motel room. In the morning after confronting the hotel clerk (Jenny), about the urine colored water, we decided to not eat at any restaurant in Coos Bay. We drove to Bandon and had a nice breakfast at one of the cafes. I think the least Best Western could have done for it's customers, was to acknowledge the water problem and offer bottled water to its customers. We are very disappointed in the service and the "no big deal" attitude of the staff.
