| Beautiful Resort |
| My husband and I are from Portland and we planned a weekend getaway in beautiful Bend, Oregon at the Riverhouse Resort. We have been to Bend many times and the beauty of the area keeps us coming back. We typically stay elsewhere but had heard wonderful reviews about the Riverhouse Resort and thought we would give it a go.
We requested a room overlooking the Deschutes River and were surprised to get exactly what we asked for. If you are avid travelers like we are, you know that is not always the case. The staff was very accommodating and made us feel at home the instant we arrived.
Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with a lovely patio overlooking the river. One of the highlights was leaving our door propped open at night to to hear the sounds of the water.
We love to walk and hike and this is the place to do it. The trails are surrounded by trees and flowers and the hikes are very peaceful. My husband is a weekend golfer and can’t wait to come back and attempt The River’s Edge 18-hole Championship Golf Course.
Breakfast at the Riverhouse Resort was almost more than we could manage. The Crossings had a wonderful breakfast menu and I would highly recommend the Hood River Apple Pancake. It’s not a healthy option by any means but so worth it. We noticed their dinner menu looked outstanding as well and look forward to trying the steakhouse on our next visit.
Our trip was everything we had hoped for. We have a new place to call home when visiting Bend, Oregon and it’s the Riverhouse Resort.
