Good accommodations, great food, attentive staff. The fishing was fantastic, the weather was great, the scenery incredible...truly one of the countries natural treasures. I chose to go after school was back in session as I have heard that this place is very popular....now I know why. It is definitely a place to visit again and again.

As a lifetime Bend resident I've spent two weeks every summer at Cultus Lake. This past summer I decided to get a little crazy and try something new. I'm glad I did! My family and I had such a wonderful time at East Lake Resort! It was the most fun my kids have had in a very long time. A huge thanks to the owners of the resort. We'll definitely be coming back! Keep the fish coming!!

My family and I decided to take an unconventional vacation to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and found this quant, quiet, and charming resort therapeutic for our family. Don't expect a 5 star resort, this is a fishing resort after all, but the friendly staff accommodates their guest as best as humanly possible. Breathe taking views!, INCREDIBLE fishing, (it is not uncommon to pull fish 10lbs or bigger out of this spectacular lake) and a staff that makes you feel a part of their hard working family.

Having heard how beautiful East Lake was from so many people, we finally decided to see for ourselves. We found the beauty of the area incredible. The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. The cabins were very comfortable and cozy. They have a GREAT CHEF!!! Every meal we ate at the restaurant was exceptional. All in all we had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend and will recommend East Lake to all my friends.

Nasty staff, overpriced rooms, and a bed that broke the minute my husband sat on it. We ended up leaving and the owner refused to refund the next night. The fishing in the lake may be good, but I suspect that Paulina Lake nextdoor (which has far nicer owners and also better food if you don't bring your own) would be just as worth your time and certainly more worth your dollar.
