There is a great restaurant half a block from this hotel. We found a wonderful little restaurant called the Blue Iris. The food was awesome. I will go back just for dinner sometime. The food was so fresh and good and it's really a charming atmosphere. They do a tapas style menu and it's so fun to share food and company like that. You can bring your own wine and it is just a great place.

Smoke Needs To Go From Hotel Aside from this beautiful small town center hotel being renovated in 1987 to its former glory---and not having looked as though anything at all has been done to it since in its upkeep---the 3rd floor, while each room had "smoke free room" signage on the doors---the halls wreaked of the worst choking stench of cigarette smoke you could imagine! By far, this was the worst I have even been hit with the smell of smoke when getting off an elevator to proceed walking onto the floor and through the hallways. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it is clear the management takes absolutely no pride in the place. The smoke was the topper. I also reported it to the Ohio Health Department Smoke Violation Line.Get rid of the smoke, PERIOD!
