| Beautiful and comfortable |
It was a very nice stay for the weekend for me and my boyfriend (we were there for his birthday). I purchased the "romance package" and it was fabulous. The room had a jacuzzi and we loved it and used it all weekend. The hotel staff was very cordial and friendly. It was a great weekend retreat. |

| Our first visit was magical |
I have stayed at the Cincinnati Netherlands hotel 3 times. Our first visit was magical. My husband and I were upgraded to a deluxe room (not sure why) and we were instantly spoiled and sold on the hotel. Based on that experience my daughter and I planned a get-away weekend and were put in a dismal corner room with peeling wallpaper, no hot water, dirty carpet, missing light bulbs, and other problems. After expressing my displeasure to the manager, we received a one night's stay gift certificate. My husband and I used it later in the year when were in Cincinnati and had a better experience although still nothing like the first one. |

| Wonderful! |
I had just returned that morning from a trip to Vegas and had stayed out all night before flying back to Indianapolis. I arrived later in Cincinnati and had a party to attend that evening. I was so tired, when I laid down in the bed at the Hilton, it was like laying on a pile of feathers. Absolutely WONDERFUL!! Nicest hotel bed I have ever had and I slept soundly all night. Excellent service! |

| Hotel lacks security |
Although the hotel itself was beautiful and most of the employees were very friendly, we checked in on a Saturday afternoon, and upon returning to our room late Saturday night, we found a man sleeping in our bed. After he was removed, and it was found that his room card worked in our door, we asked for clean bed linens, and HAD TO CHANGE THE BED OURSELVES! As if this is not shocking enough, the way the daytime manager handled the situation was worse. She kept saying that she didn't know how something like that could have happened, and that we should have talked to the night manager because she knew nothing of this. Finally she said (not nicely), " what exactly are you asking me to do for you, your room is paid for." Disappointed by her attitude, my husband and I left. I feel as though maybe those Hilton girls should spent a little less on make-up and clothes, and more on hotel security!! |
