Whitewater Center It is awesome! Everyone should make it a point to go to Charlotte for the purpose of visiting it! It is the largest man-made whitewater center in the country. I love that the river is man-made. As a first time rafter, I felt really safe going down rapids with a guide on a man-made river, even though he said it was different every time he goes down. It can't be as different as the real thing...I mean, right? Also, I'm glad I got to try rock wall climbing for free (I attended a private event there) before I spent money to do so. I don't like it, but for those that do like it, they have it. I guess there's also trails for hiking and biking, but it was at night, so we didn't do any of that. There's also kayaking in addition to rafting on the river. All in all...it rocks!
