Top Local Tips for Charlotte

Ovens Auditorium My daughter and I just saw the play Rent at Ovens Auditorium. (Jan. 2007) It was very easy to find from downtown Charlotte and the facilities were very nice. Our seats were wonderful. It did not seem to be a "bad" seat in the house!

Drive to a lot The financial/business district doesn't have much going on on weekends. There are restaurants, but not much else (ie, shops, theaters, liquor stores, etc). You'll need to drive to get to these places.

Excellent casual eatery Vinnies Raw Bar is a casual, raucus, excellent local place for a fun nite out and good casual food.
