Top Local Tips for Asheville

Restaurants Two great restaurants: The Laughing Seed -vegetarian--interesting menu and wonderfully prepared fresh foods. Tupelos--great local fare, Sunday brunch, unusual choices and old favorites. Enjoyed fried green tomatoes, sweet potato pancakes, etc. May have a wait on Sundays as popular with locals and tourists.

Secret dining spot at the Biltmore. The view, food & service from the Inn at Biltmore Main floor bar colonade balcony area is a great secret for those of us not staying at the Inn nor dining in the "Dining Room".

So much to choose from There are SO many resturants to choose from. Many of the big chains BUT also many small resturants. At the Inn there are menus and they can help recommend great places to eat for any taste or budget! That was also very helpful.
