Elegant, but not ostentatious place to stay in Ashville. Good location, minutes from town, lovely gardens, breakfast by the sparkling pool in a lush garden setting. The owners are helpful, warm and able to arrange most of the tickets, etc. guests may want. Relaxing and comfortable.

Kathleen's Tea Room We had lunch at Kathleen's Tea Room in Fletcher, a little ways south on Hendersonville from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place for a lovely lunch. There is seating outdoors on a big wrap-around porch as well as indoor seating. The food was excellent and there was a great variety of tea - iced or hot. It's located on St. John's Road behind the strip center.
