Really Messy and Terrible Service

I don't know who gave this place a 10 rating, but they may need their head checked. Upon first arriving, we were immediately struck by the filth of the front desk and lobby. Everything was dusty and disorganized and the office behind the front desk is strewn with junk. Our room looked nice enough on first glance, but after a few minutes we saw lots of spider webs and spiders near the sliding glass door. The sliding glass door also doesn't have a screen so we couldn't open it to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Instead we had to run the air conditioner which could only be turned on and off by plugging it in/unplugging it, and all of it's controls had been ripped off. To add insult to injury, we tried to call the front desk from our room because the remote for our TV wasn't working. After not being able to call, and no phone directory to tell us how, we went downstairs to the desk physically to ask them to fix our remote. He told us to do it ourselves! He came out with a plastic bag full of junk remotes and told us to try each one of them! When we refused, he handed us an instruction manual instead which had us go through 30 or so codes to try to get our remote working. We felt for $100/night, this was rediculous. Lastly, when asked the man at the front desk how to call him from our room, he said plain and simply, "I don't know". What?!! To top it all off I'm not sure of this places sanitation. I was itchy all night when sleeping in the bed and don't want to know why. Save your money!!

The waitress Erin made our stay wonderful. Bob cooked us some delicious ribs. Does anyone else work at this place? This terrific duo will keep us coming back for years.

Great Bar, Great Food, and so very relaxing. Extremely reasonable ski packages . . . Plan on going back this summer for the golf specials. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Lodge in March - the ski package, in conjunction with White Face Mountain, could not be beat. The food was excellent and our stay very relaxing. Will be staying again this summer and trying out the Golf Specials. Recommend this place very highly.

Awesome bar menu and drink specials, comfy beds, and great hospitality! Live entertainment on weekends -- I really enjoyed the guitarist Geoff Hayward and the piano player Ed Schenk on Friday and Saturday night. The spa was so relaxing too! And lower rates than most places in the area!
