I am Impressed with The Villa Vosilla

I have enjoyed and observed every facet of The Villa Vosilla Operations, accommodation's, Food, Entertainment, etc... (My career working for large hotels like the Marriott, and others in the Food and beverage field enhance my ability to identify weaknesses).

No place is perfect, but I am impressed with the quality of service, customer care, food, cleanliness, and conflict resolution, everything about the Villa Vosilla is text book, superb, they see they are not perfect and continue to renovate. You will love the Villa Vosilla, and I have seen how Lee, Doria, Lee, the staff handle upset customers, They find solutions, any reasonable request is satisfied, and when Lee Jr. said to a customer, OK how would you handle this problem? she stepped back then provided a reasonable request which he granted, and she left happy and laughing with him.

I continue returning to the Villa for a very good reason, they earned my repeat business, I am their friends because they earned this, we laugh and experience life. That is all I seek, a clean place, plenty of entertainment if I desire it, laughter, and little tension so the Villa Vosilla is my preference for a place to stay and you will love the community plenty to do, skiing, tubing etc...

I hope this helps you, I wonder why it took me 1.5 months to write this, HUMAN NATURE, I left the Villa Vosilla happy and people who leave happy have busy lives, their priority is to live and enjoy life, people who complain take immediate action but they are the minority. I am a member of the silent majority, and the majority is silent about the Villa Vosilla because they are happy with it. I hope to see you at the villa Vosilla. Best Luck Douglas =)

family fun for all

My family and i have been coming here for years and every aspect of this resort has been the same- fantastic!! In fact,the past three generations of our family have enjoyed this wonderful place.As I have always seen, Villa Vosilla has catered to anyone and everyone.Lee, Doria and family ( who own and operate the resort) are the nicest and most accomodating people there are, and can't seem to do enough for you.One of the nicest personal touches you will see here is when the original owner/matriarch of the family personally visits each table during meals. Now that is something that is rarely seen anymore or anywhere these days.It is this personal touch and attention to detail that will always have my family and I coming back.Also, the Halloween entertainment here was wonderful while we were here during Halloween weekend.

For at least 10 years, my family and I have been visiting the Villa, for Hunter Mountain festivals and skiing. The staff is always friendly. Lee and Doria treat us like family. They can never do enough for us. When my kids visit the pool or the arcade, I know that they are safe. The food is absolutely delicious. Lee is a fabulous cook. This isn't a new hotel but that's the charm of it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Villa Vosilla is probably one of the last resorts around where old friends can get together and enjoy the comaraderie and good times of days gone by. Everyone at the resort is so accomodating - the food is great and the entertainment first class. A great place to get together with old friends or just a weekend for "two" where you can get to meet new friends. We look forward to going back.

i have enjoyed going to the villa vosilla for about eight years now, for my sister reunion, the enviorment gives off a homey feel, with its wounderful staff, delicious food and entertainment including dacing and always gives a good show. my sisters and i can not wait to return.

We've been going to the Villa Vosilla for years. It's a great place for a romantic weekend, a family vacation ,or a reunion. I've been there for all those things at the Villa and never been disappointed.
Your close to all the neighboring attractions, but really never have to leave the facility. There is plenty to do right there. PS- The meals are outstanding!

We had a wonderful time there, our grandchildren were very happy because, there is an indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi and game room, for the adults there is an exercise room, sauna, and outdoor activities. Live music nightly and show. The food is excelent and the staff is very helpful.

I am not one who usually takes the time to write a hotel review, but my recent stays at Villa Vosilla has inspired me to 'spread the word'.

The hotel's rooms, staff & ammenities leave nothing to be desired. But the real prize-winner here is the food. It's all prepared with a fresh and 'start-from-scratch' philosophy delivering a blue-ribbon dinning experience one wouldn't expect from the area. From appetizer to dessert, Executive Chef Lee McGunnigle doesn't miss a beat. So go. Go soon. Your tastebuds will thank you.

And once they do, head off to the nightclub. The nightly entertainment is as good as their food.

My friend told me about this place and I am so glad he did. The food,rooms,price and staff were all fantastic. What a great ski weekend we had. We will be back next year with my brother and his family.

I travel alot with and without my family as an Italian leather importer. I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world. The Villa Vosilla is in my top ten. The food was out of this world and the owners family could not have been any nicer to me and family. I ate like a king and they made us feel like family on our ski weekend. I plan on going back with my family in the summer for the Italian festival. This place is not the Plaza Hotel but the food and company made it the Ritz of the Catskils mountains.

LOOK FIRST , LOOK AROUND FIRST ,THEN DECIDE IF YOU ARE GOING TO STAY OR NOT....

Skiing Hunter Mtn is a good mountain to learn how to ski..they have an excellent ski school and program...the terrain is well groomed and on lwkends there are bands in the llodge by the lively bar scene, mostly singles but families iwth kids congregate there too...on Presidents weekend there were hardly any lift lines only a 5 min wait...conditions can be icy though but thats true for most of northeast.
