Filthy & Poor Customer Service

I have never stayed in a motel that was so filthy in all my life. There was dirt and trash under the bed, and I found a cockroach on the shower curtain around 1:30 am. I complained to managment when we checked out, wrote letters and called; however, nothing was done in the way of apology or compensation. We will never stay in another Econo Lodge. It took my children quite a long time to get over that experience and feel comfortable sleeping in a hotel/motel.
