Very pleasant and enjoyable place
More of a restaurant with overnight accomodations rather than an inn. You check in at the bar. No front desk.
Pros - *very* friendly and informal. Restaurant and food are very good. We felt welcome and comfortable. It's an old place, but perfectly nice - the rooms are like staying overnight at your grandmothers house.
Cons (minor) - rooms do not have phones (no issue if you have cell phone). Also, since there is no front desk, they lock the doors at 11 pm and you are pretty much on your own. So if you are out late, make sure you have your key.
Other info - The airline lost our luggage and ended up delivering it around midnight, and the staff stayed around a little late to wait for it for us. That completely won us over. They also loaned me a cell phone charger. Little things like that stay with you. Definitely recommended, and we would stay there again.

Nice experience
Comfortable place to dine in the midst of wintry weather. Aged environment that is comfortable, warm, and inviting. Very pleasant staff - friendly, helpful, and not rushing. Excellent food. Had steak and chicken dishes. Steak cooked the way it should be cooked - you could actually taste the meat - not seasoning and sauces. Tried the Cuba cheese and beer soup - distinctive and nice taste - worth a try. This is definately a small town restaurant with history - not pretentious or contrived.

Great Place To Stay
I usually stay at the Myers for the fall fest in nearby Holiday Valley. I feel the rooms are clean and worth the price of the stay. I am able to get a cab ride to the fall fest with no issues but sometimes it's tough to get on back. I have yet to try the food but have heard nothing but good things about the food and service.

Good food but SLOW service in a COLD dining room
After a long day of great skiing, we stopped for a steak at Myers. The dining room was extremely cold, so we sat NEXT to the gas stove and still shivered! Just getting a drink was a major accomplishment, because they were sooo slow. Everyone in the dining room started interacting about the poor service, because it was actually laughable. Where else were we going to go anyway? We sat by the fire, laughed with everyone else, and waited it out. When the food finally came, the vegtables were from a frozen package, but the salad and steak were good. I would try it again simply because of the proximity to Holiday Valley, but that's the only reason.
