What can I say about this great little secret tucked away in the Catskills? Plenty!
We have been having a family weekend here for the past 10 years and love it.
The place is a bit rustic because it is an older Catskills resort. It is a cabin style hotel with the room decor from the 70's. That aside it is clean and reasonable.
Run by Henry and his family you can count on three square meals daily. This is not hotel fare. It is home made German cooking served family style. Food is great and plentiful.
The best thing to do here is nothing. The attraction is the beauty of the mountains and the peace and quiet. After a full breakfast just wander outside and pull up a chair and relax. Talk with family or maybe meet new friends. There is tennis, basketball,shuffleboard and the pool, Great playground for the kids. Hike to one of many small waterfalls or take a side trip to one of the local attractions like Howe Caverns.
