Family Resort -some amenities desired
We booked 2 townhouse and spent $1500 for a 4 day vacation. The resort is about 20 minutes away from Cooperstown.
There is no air conditioning to these units only window fans which makes night time sleep uncomfortable in the hot weather. Also, there were no bath tubs to bathe the children only a stand up shower (not big enough for an adult and child to shower together) so we had to get creative with our 2 youngest 2 and 4 year old. Be careful when turning on the showers since one of our party members was seriously burned by the fluctuating temperature of the showers. The grounds on the resort were beautiful but they do use the term "resort" very loosely. We had to track down the front desk for towels, trash bags and had to take our own trash to the dumpster every day. The TVs were not working due their satellite being down. So, there was no TV and very limited childrens videos available for the kids to watch when it was rainy. For the same price we could have rented a house for the weekend. Consider only if this is a last resort!
We did love the resident dog who made great company for the kids.
