Absolute worst
While booking for my employees for a trip, they refused to go to an econo lodge after the experience at this hotel. I had not been aware of the issues before this. When they checked in, there was a wet towel on the bed in the first room. The shower curtain in the second room had mold on it and it was slimy from apparent soap residue. The blanket was badly stained, so much so that they could not use them as they seemed to be recent stains. We will have to stay away from the econo lodge chain in the future. This is a very poor way to treat the paying public. I would think econo lodge would be embarassed to have their name associated with such an establishment as this. It will be some time before we will use this chain again, if ever.

I confirmed on the 19th that we still had our reservations and the rooms would be close together. Well, on 9/21, Laurie said one room was upstairs and the other was downstairs. She had no other availability. We pled with her to get us two rooms close together as we had expected to have. She did suddenly have two rooms that were closer together. However, the one room (#119) was filthy!! There were bugs, spiders, webs, dust, and dirt everywhere. Even the stove was crusty and unclean. My mom was disgusted. We told Laurie right away of the condition of our room. She assured us the room would be cleaned the next morning.
The next morning, we ...Read more
