Poor value for a lot of money

Because of a mistake in my regular hotel booking, I had to spend I night at Econo Lodge. Sure- my judgement is highly influenced by the fact that I had spent nearly 6 weeks at nearby Mariott Residence Inn before, which is a marvellous place to stay. I wouldn't complain, if the price would have been halfway appropriate. But they took >150 USD, incl. taxes for 1 night (weekend, Fr to Sat) which is by far more than it was worth. Fortunately, my company pays ... I'd never choose Econo Lodge if I'd travel on my own's expense.
