Danford's has very rude staff!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at Danfords in 03. It was the night when we had the summer blackout. They did nothing to accommodate us, and said that it was an act of nature and could not help us. They did not give us candles because it was a fire hazard, and they ran out flash lights. The staff was really rude. They did not even offer us breakfast or comp our room. They should have invited us back at no cost. I would never stay their again, nor would I recomend anyone to stay there. I always wanted to have my wedding there. I would rather have it at a no frills hotel, we would probably be treated better. The staff really ruined it for me.

They host parties They host all sorts of events, some of which run very late into the evening. The walls are paper thin, so don't plan on sleeping.

LIRR PJ is the end of the line for the LIRR. so its easy to go straight there from manhattan. in nice weather i'm sure you can walk down to the village, but taxis are always waiting on the train if you prefer.
