LAKE WARNING !!

NYS boating violations seen all over this lake. The sheriffs dept patrols only 20hrs a week mostly during week days when there are hardly any boats on the lake. On the weekends the boaters are out of control most of the time with NO law enforcement.

We arrived at the motel for Labor Day weekend last year-rented a cabin RIGHT ON THE LAKE! Tthe staff was wonderful and it was VERY relaxing. We stayed 2 nights and had a excellent time. I read and dad and kids (18 & 22 then) fished!! Thank you so much - we'll be back!!

Family-owned and operated, accommodating and obliging people, immaculate room, especially reasonable rates for the pricey Cooperstown area. I will stay there again.
