Stayed there last year during Americade, Jeff was running the show, no lock needed for the bike dog on watch. Nice place, friendly, nice drive to Lake George. Will stay again.

The Valhaus Motel is great the rooms are kept very neat, and very comfortable. The grounds are amazing and have great views when you walk up the trails behind the motel. My stay was great the owners Jeff and Dot were great, jeff was very funny. And his dog King is great. You should definitely stay here at any time of the year.
Definitely will return!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Their pets are on the premises give it a homey feel. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean. Great price for the Summer months ($130 for 2 nights)! We will definitely return!

The Valhaus is a great place to stay. The whole place, grounds and everything are very charming and peaceful. The owners, Dot and Jeff are the nicest people and go out of their way to make their guests happy. I recommend the place highly.

We stayed during Americade 2005. Jeff & Dot treated us like family and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time and plan on returning. The motel was a peaceful getaway.

My room was like a 1950's nightmare. It smelled so bad. I looked behind the bed...big mistake....really dirty. The towels were the size of a hand towel... bring your own. Don't walk barefoot in the room.
