Worst motel ever

We did not get what we booked online. We booked a nonsmoking room and instead we got a smoking room. It was smelly and repulsive. Maria, the woman at the front desk lied to us as to why we got such room. They ruined our get away weekend. There are so many negative reviews posted online and they are all truth. I wish we read them before we booked a room there. Worst motel ever!!!!

Not very bad as the reviewers wrote here..
It was good, swimming pool was good..
But they did not open till morning 8:30 and hence no break fast.. The lady in the front spoke authoriatively but in reality not aware of the current timings in state park.
Parking was plenty unlike someone here complained. Door locks were worn out and provided a little safety, but were complimented with cheap secondary lock.
Toilet seat was inconvenient, but ok.

My stay at the Moonlite Motel was very good. I felt safe and the service was excellent. The hostess was very friendly!!! Also,the price was excellent and the room was very tidy.

Not so great motel

Room was very cramped with 2 queen beds,TV was very old with a poor reception, toilet was way to close to the wall making it almost impossible to sit on & pool water was very cold despite the outside temperature being in the 90`s & claims from the owner that the water was heated.

I make frequent visits to the area and this is the only place I will stay. Their service and staff are beyond compare and truly make you feel at home. The rooms and the pool are very clean and well kept. I can't wait for my next visit!

This summer will make my third visit to the Moonlite. I keep going back. My last two summers very wonderful. The owners take care of everything personally and are very caring. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent.
A home away from home

A very nice and pleasant hostess, who made us very welcome and comfortable, on our 2 previous visits. The room was very clean andand well kept. The small outdoor pool was a very nice area to spend a hot and sunny afternoon. Very economical and well worth the visit.
