Great Family Hotel in a great location
We were very happy with The Muse from the moment we got there. We arrived very early and the staff was very helpful with our luggage. They were able to get us checked in very early in the day (11am). All we ever had to do was ask for something and it was there for us. We forked out a little more money and got the room with a terrace (a must if you can). The hotel is located a half block from Times Square and within easy walking distance to most major attractions. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and must say, the staff is wonderful. Will NEVER stay in a chain hotel in NY again

Cool and Trendy but Poor View..
Check in was efficient and smooth from the black-clad laid back hall staff. This was an internet booking for just one night, so this may explain why I had a room with a view of a brick wall just a few feet from the window.
The Hotel is convenient for all Midtown locations and is just a step from Times Square, but the downside is that it is a noisy environment with sirens and garbage trucks making up the background ambience.
