Perfectly Situated
I stayed at the Melrose with a girlfriend over a long winter weekend. It is perfectly situated so that although in a quiet street you are within walking distance (5-10Mins) of Central New York and allit has to offer. The staff were friendly though not falsly so and were happy to help with restaurant bookings and directions. I had a double room which had a mini HIFI, large TV Fridge, En suite etc. It was a good size for the two of us, clean and non smoking. I recomend this hotel for short weekend breaks and will be staying there again.

I have since moved across the park to a hotel on 72nd. and Broadway. I have found the service to be excellent, the beds alot more comfortable, and the neighborhood and restaurants to be incredible. I a...Read more
