| Extraordinary stay at Franklin |
|
The hotel is a dream. I dearly love the crisp sheets and bedding, the framed photos in the rooms, the access to a nice breakfast room and availability of coffee and other drinks throughout the day and fruit at night. The last time I stayed, the Franklin Hotel gave me great joy. In your fabulous breakfast room, I met a charming, cultured lady slightly younger than me, but a delight in her enthusiasm for my pet subject--art. We attended the Byzantium art show together at the MET and shared meals. Her enthusiasm was uplifting. I am just greatly disappointed that I lost her address. Her name was Cathy Mayer, a nurse from Cleveland. It would not have been possible to meet someone like that anywhere else in New York, at any other hotel. This hotel attracts such stimulating people. I'm dying to go to New York again and stay at the Franklin. |

| Cramped but convenient |

SMALL to an extreme rooms. In our case, an extremely convenient location. The breakfast is a welcome amenity. |
