Great Location
2 minutes walk to Times Square and 2 minutes walk to 5th Avenue.
All staff were very helpful, the Concierge booked restaurants and gave us great advice on a variety of things. Does expect to be tipped for this. We satyed in a suite on the 17th floor and the Empire State Building could be seen from our room window, awesome at night when lit up.

Relaxing Yet Luxurious
I found my stay at the Sofitel to be the perfect way to spend a relaxing evening prior to a hectic business meeting. Everything about the room is first class; immaculate and comfortable. The hotel makes the uncomfortable traveler feel at ease and at home. I recommend the Sofitel without reservation (excuse the pun).

My Favorite Chicago Hotel
I avoided the Sofitel Hotel for years because, rightly or wrongly, I don't like the French. I couldn't bear the thought of putting money in their pockets. However, I broke down and tried the Sofitel. It was a wonderful surprise! The hotel was superb, spotlessly clean and the staff was exceptional. From the friendly valet personnel and bellmen who remember your name to the desk staff and cleaning people, everyone is friendly and helpful. The lounge is trendy and fun and the restaurant serves the best breakfast in Chicago. The location of the Sofitel is perfect. It is one block from Michigan Avenue and central to great shopping and superb restaurants. We actually save a bundle on taxi fares. The Chicago Sofitel is now our only hotel choice in the Windy City.
