| Not good |
|
This Hotel is not good. I was twice in last month with my family in a one bedroom apartment. The first time when we were going to Europe, the second when we lost our fly. My kids slept in the sofa bed, but it wasn´t ok: the sheets: not cleaned. The kitchen: not enough dishes; The personal: very rude, always. We were four persons but in the our apartment there was only 3 chairs.

Nice for the price, but Staff especially the Manager was rude. The only nice person was the door man.

Well there are a few flaws to the Murray Hill East Suites, but all in all it's quite a charming property.
Upon arrival, the ever present doormen are always very friendly. Check-in is quick but it's a bit of an older system -- manual credit card authorization, traditional keys (versus keycards) and the like. There are two small elevators but I never seemed to have to wait.
The room is huge by NYC standards, it's almost like a studio apartment. The furnishings are not new but they are in good condition. There's a small kitchenette which is cleaned daily. The bathroom had good water pressure and felt more like a bathroom in a home than a hotel. There were two huge closets.
There are a lot of cable channels and a sofa sleeper too. The windows are large and open. The bed is comfortable but not luxurious. The heating & A/C is a bit loud but did the job.
The hotel is located in a great Murray Hill neighborhood, very quiet and safe. It's not too close to the subway but ... Read more |
