Great location - short walk to Times Square, Central Park, Broadway, everything!!!; I kept reading how the rooms were small, but for the 4 of us....two teenagers & two adults, we were thrilled. There was two rooms w/ adjoining french doors. The sitting room sofa made into a bed. It probably wasn't real comfortable, but the teenagers slept there! The bathroom was beautiful, the room was clean. The only negative thing I could report was that the shower drain was slow. We called, they came right away, but it didn't help much. They were very friendly & helpful. Oh, one more negative thing: next door was the back of a very busy hotel and it took the trash man almost all night to load up all the trash each night. So bring ear plugs. But as I said before: location, location, location!! It was great! |

At first glance, this place seems like a gem. Very, very small rooms, but clean, and in a great location. Unfortunately, nothing else was good. The staff is rude and condescending. There was no continental breakfast as promised in their advertising and hotel directory. The fire alarm system wasn't working because they had to turn it off to work on the sprinkler system, (post 9/11, this made me feel very unsafe!). Housekeeping service was shoddy, air conditioning didn't work. We were offered no apologies, no room change. We were told that there was always a/c problems and they hadn't served breakfast in a long time, and if this wasn't good enough for us, we should check into another hotel. Trust me, next time, we will! |
